The Meaning of New Year

            Happy New Year! Now is 2016. All people in the world closed the 2015. They have bad or good experience in 2015. Now, they must prepare for 2016. So,what is the meaning of new year?

            The changes each year from 2014 to 2015 or from 2015 to 2016 is caused by revolution of earth. Earth is a planet in solar system. Each planet has two movements, rotation and revolution. So what is revolution? Revolution of earth is the earth movement around the sun. Sun is the focus of solar system. So each planet must has revolution for oppose the gravitation of the sun. In the revolution, earth has its way. The earth way is oval. One movement of earth in the oval way is called one year. We can say that revolution period of earth is same than one year. The value of earth’s revolution is 365,25 days. So, the meaning of new year in the science is result of earth’s revolution.

            People in the world always celebrate the new year. There are some traditions for people celebrates the new year. The tradition such as family time, traditional dance, yoga, firework and other. Firework party is icon of new year. People usually burn the firework for celebrate the new year. In some country, the goverment held big firework party to celebrate the new year. They usually celebrate it in the landmark of their country. For example in New York ( NY Town Square), Paris (Eiffel Tower), London (Big Bang), Dubai (Burj Khalifa).

            All of people in the world has good hope for the next year. But, in general their hope is same. Better than before. New year can be event for self evaluation. What we do wrong at the year must be changed. What we good at the year must continue it. So, happy new year 2016. We hope 2016 is better than 2015.  J
