SEC Story: A Fun After A Fight

Semester End Competition (SEC) is an activity where students of SMA N 1 Singaraja can refresh their mind after thinking hard, fighting for the Semester Academic Test (SAT). This activity is not only for refreshing but also as a means of pouring creativity of the students of SMA N 1 Singaraja. In this article, we’d like to share some of our funs in SMANSA during the SEC 2014 that we’ve just joined together this year.

The SEC 2014, which lasted for about 4 days, was dominated by the creativity competition, relay races and other competitions. The relay races, as usual, were named funnily in order to increase the students’ intention to join the relay race, such as Jali Otong Riko and Esbul Duka Cedug. Besides that, the SEC this year was also completed with the Water War (Pistol Air) Competition that successfully attract the students’ enthusiasm to join this competition. It reminded us all with the game of Benteng Takeshi and it’s really really full of fun and wet.

Not only the relay races, there were also some fanfare activities, especially the dance competitions, which successfully attract the most students to watch. The dance competition was where the students can really express their feeling, their passion, and also their craziness of creativity into a creative dance in a sensational song. The girls scream and the boys whistle were mostly heard in the TRRC when the participants showed the dance. Besides that, in this year, Accapella and Musical Poetry or also well known as Mus’ Ap (Musikalisasi Puisi-Acapella) was also challenging the creativity of the students.

SMANSA is about all the students of it. We always try to make the best for everyone in every events. And thanks God! The fresh air for the gamers of SMANSA! This year, the gamers didn’t have to fall in a boring situation or hiding to play the games during the SEC. Yeah, we made it! The gamers also could prove their ability in a competition. The SEC is held for the refreshing, right? DOTA 2 Competition was held to “embrace” the gamers this year. Many gamers participated this competition, especially boys, in order to prove their skilll and to get the champion.

Yummy! A lot of funs, tiring competitions were made us felt thirsty or hungry. Don’t worry! This festivity is also supported by the stands of entrepreneurship which provide a variety of food innovation and creativity of students of SMA N 1 Singaraja. But, the most important one were the competitive taste and low priced food and beverages.

The SEC activities in a tutu with a peak event enlivened by the creativity of the students such as singing, dancing, standup comedy, and also band.
